The lifeless body of a 22-year-old Australian young man appeared early this Tuesday, around 8:00 a.m., on Ondarreta beach, in San Sebastián, according to sources from the San Sebastián City Council.
The body has appeared at the height of Pico del Loro, on the border between the beaches of La Concha and Ondarreta. The body was found by an employee of the municipal cleaning service, who immediately notified the Municipal Police. The agents proceeded, shortly after, to cordon off the area.
As confirmed by the council, he is a 22-year-old Australian. The causes of his death are being investigated at this time. The main hypothesis is that he could fall from a nearby wall and the hypothesis of a violent death is practically ruled out.
This is the second event of this nature in just a month. On September 15, the lifeless body of a 41-year-old Irishman was found on La Concha beach.
The man had gone out at night, until dawn, with two friends and around 6:00 a.m. he separated from them. The deceased went to his hotel to leave his clothes and documentation, and went to swim at La Conche beach, where he drowned.
