The best pizzeria in Europe is now in Barcelona

This is the commitment of Sartoria Panatieri, the Barcelona pizzeria run by chefs Rafa Panatieri and Jorge Sastre which, in its two locations (Encarnació, 51 and Provença, 330), today has established itself as the best in Europe.

During the gala, which was held at the MSG auditorium in Barcelona and hosted by the journalist Verónica Zumalacárregui, second place in the ranking went to Bæst, the Italian Christian Puglisi’s pizzeria in Copenhagen, which precisely recently starred in Barcelona in a four-handed game with the Sartoria Panatieri team. Third place went to the Londoner 50 Kalò, owned by Ciro Salvo, also an Italian.

Although it has dropped four positions compared to 2022, the Madrid pizzeria Fratelli Figurato continues to occupy a position in the top ten (6) and La Balmesina, in Barcelona, ​​closes it again at number 10.

Spain also registers a new entry in the guide with Baldoria from Madrid, who in just one year of life has managed to reach number 13. Demaio from Bilbao (17), Oro di Napoli from Tenerife (41) are still present in the ranking. , and the Alicante Infraganti Pizza Bar.

In addition, the establishments of these chefs, who before opening the first Sartoria Panatieri had led the kitchens of large houses such as Roca Moo from Barcelona, ​​continue to retain their Green Oven award, a symbol that distinguishes the establishment’s commitment to environmental sustainability. An award that they share with Bæst in Copenhagen, Forza in Helsinki, La Pizza è Bella Gourmet in Brussels, MO de Movimiento in Madrid and Flat Earth, in London.
