In this photographic report in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia I have captured details in the landscape of the town of Tarròs, in El Urgell, with a reflex camera.

In the images, the treatment of light and color stand out, as well as the framings with natural elements as protagonists, such as the branches of trees without leaves.

SLR cameras avoid parallax errors (angular deviation from the apparent position of an object, depending on the chosen point of view).

Light enters the camera through the lens, is reflected in a mirror (hence the name, from the English reflex meaning “reflection”) and, through it, the image reaches the viewfinder. There are two types of SLR cameras: SLR (single-lens reflex) and TLR (twin-lens reflex).

El Tarròs is a locality incorporated in the municipality of Tornabous since the middle of the 19th century. It is known because the politician Lluís Companys, former president of the Generalitat de Catalunya, was born here, but its history is even more extended.

The most important patrimonial element of the town is the parish church of Santa Cecilia, from the 16th century, in Gothic styles but with Romanesque influences.
