The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested a 24-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of a fatal stabbing that occurred this Wednesday on a street in Terrassa (Barcelona).

As reported by the Generalitat Police, the Terrassa police station of the Mossos d’Esquadra received a report around 12:30 p.m. about a man injured with a knife on Bartrina Street in the town.

Several patrols from the Mossos and the Local Police, as well as ambulances from the Medical Emergency System (SEM), have traveled to the scene of the events, but they have not been able to do anything to save the victim’s life.

Subsequently, the Catalan police arrested a 24-year-old man in the same town as the alleged perpetrator of the events.

The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Northern Metropolitan Region of the Mossos d’Esquadra has taken charge of the investigation, which is under summary secrecy.
