The bulls from the Fuente Ymbro ranch in Cádiz have caused moments of tension and danger in the fourth running of the bulls of the San Fermín festivities in a fast race in which numerous young men have been run over and overturned.

Despite the danger that has been experienced, the first medical report only points to six transferred to the University Hospital of Navarra, one gored by a bull horn in the popliteal hollow of one leg. Other runners are being assisted in the infirmary of the Plaza de Toros.

The race, which lasted two minutes and twenty-one seconds, started punctually at 8 in the morning from the corrals in Santo Domingo led by the halters, who by the end of the hill had already been overtaken by three bulls.

With much fewer runners than in previous days, the herd has crossed the Town Hall without incident, where a black bull, another chestnut and the soapman made way for the rest of their brothers.

Living up to their fame, the Fuente Ymbro bulls reached the Mercaderes curve at high speed without allowing long runs from runners unable to keep up with their pace. The same trend has been repeated throughout the entire Estafeta street where the greatest moments of tension have been experienced, with two runners who, a few meters away, have been knocked over by a brown bull, and several more who were herd has passed over them without paying them special attention.

This street, in which the bulls normally tend to slow down and allow longer races, the bulls from Cádiz have given a hectic pace to the confinement and have produced piles that they themselves have stumbled upon later. This has lengthened the duration, which until then had times worthy of signing a record.

In the Telefónica and Callejón sections, the herd was completely stretched out, which allowed it to be interspersed among the animals to achieve longer and more showy races. A halter has been the first to enter the bullring, followed by a herd divided into three, which has not generated excessive problems in the ring.

This July 10, as usual, tribute was paid to the last fatality of the running of the bulls at San Fermín, Daniel Gimeno from Madrid. His parents have come to the section of Telefónica to place flowers on the fence post where he was fatally stuffed by a Jandilla.
