The Albarín is a variety that we can practically only find in these parts and as a curiosity, the vineyard of this white wine is the one that is located further north on the Iberian Peninsula. Its Atlantic influence gives it a lot of freshness and its three months on its lees give it some volume in the mouth. On the nose, floral aromas and white fruit such as apple stand out. Perfect to enjoy a dish like the typical Asturian and summer scorpionfish cake.
This white made with the Godello grape, which grows on the slopes of Valdeorras and overlooking the River Sil, would make a great tandem with an octopus empanada if you find yourself on the Galician coast.
