The American artist Taylor Swift has added a new date at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Madrid within the European leg of her tour The Eras Tour, with a concert on Wednesday, May 29, in addition to the one already announced for Thursday, the 30th.
After several days of rumors about a possible second concert by the North American star in the capital of Spain, confirmation came this Wednesday, as already stated on both the artist’s official website and the ticket sales platforms.
The tour in Europe, which already has more than fifty dates out of the 20 initially planned, will start on May 9 in Paris and will end on August 20 in London.
Madrid will be the fourth stop on this tour after stopping in the French capital (with four confirmed concerts), Stockholm (with three) and Lisbon (with another two), and before the June 2 appointment in Lyon (France).
According to the Ticketmaster platform on its social networks, during the day some fans who were unable to get tickets for the concert on Thursday the 30th (whose tickets were sold out in a short period of time) and were placed on the waiting list will receive throughout of the day a code by email to buy up to four tickets.
This sale, they explain, will open exclusively for fans with a code at 3:00 p.m. this Wednesday. However, the platform emphasizes that not all fans on the waiting list will receive a code.
The European tour will take Swift, who is currently immersed in the Asian leg of the tour, to Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff and London in the United Kingdom; Dublin in Ireland; Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Zurich in Switzerland; Milan in Italy; Gelsenkirchen, Munich and Hamburg in Germany; Warsaw in Poland, and Vienna in Austria, in addition to the destinations already mentioned before continuing with new appointments in Canada.
