The storks adapt to the climate of the Osona region. In this series of photographs I show how for a few days they have been trying to make a nest on the Manlleu reservoir.

The white stork (Ciconia ciconia) is a large species of bird. Its plumage is mostly white with black on the wings. And the legs and beak of adults acquire a red color.

It measures an average of 100 and 115 cm from the tip of the beak to the end of the tail, and its wings can reach a span between 155 and 215 cm.

Osona is one of the resting places for storks on their summer migratory route to the northernmost lands of Europe after having spent the winter in the south.

Now, not all of them continue their journey, but there are some that acclimatize and decide to stay, build a nest and increase their family.
