The Valencian Community has recorded this Sunday, Christmas Eve, pleasant daytime temperatures, with the thermometer reaching 19.4 degrees in Villena (Alicante) and exceeding 18 degrees in Bicorp (Valencia), Turís (Valencia) or Pinoso (Alicante).

According to data from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), 18 degrees have been slightly exceeded in Chelva (Valencia), Rojales (Alicante) and Alcoi (Alicante), and Xàtiva (Valencia) has remained very close to that figure. with 17.9 degrees, and Novelda (Alicante), with 17.8 degrees.

Regarding the three provincial capitals, the highest temperature of this day corresponded to Alicante, with 17.8 degrees, followed by València, with 17 degrees, and finally Castelló de la Plana, with 14.6 degrees.

In the province of Alicante, the highest temperatures on this penultimate Sunday of the year have been measured in Villena, Pinoso and Rojales, all above 18 degrees, and the lowest in Elche (16.3 degrees) and in Benidorm ( 15.6 degrees).

In the province of Valencia, the highest maximums have been reached in Turís, Bicorp and Chelva, with more than 18 degrees, and the lowest in Jalance (9.2 degrees), Ademuz and Utiel, both with 14.8 degrees.

In the municipalities of Castellón, the highest temperatures have been recorded in Torreblanca (16 degrees), Atzeneta del Maestrat (15.6 degrees) and Segorbe (14.6 degrees), and the lowest in Castellfort (8.4 degrees) and Morella (9.1 degrees).

The forecast for this Monday, Christmas Day, is that in the Valencian Community the temperatures will not experience changes or will decrease slightly, and that weak frosts will once again occur in inland points.
