The dense smoke surprised everyone who passed by the Porta Fira hotel or the Ikea de l’Hospitalet de Llobregat this Monday at noon. And there, right next to a gas station, a truck fire was reported. According to the Generalitat Firefighters, the incident resulted in no injuries.

The firefighters received notification of a vehicle that was releasing a lot of smoke at 1:05 p.m. on Granvia and Salvador Espriu streets in the second city of Catalonia. Upon arriving at the scene with five crews, the car, which was a small truck, was completely burned out and there was no one inside.

Twenty minutes later, around 1:25 p.m., the fire was already extinguished, according to the Firefighters. The emergency department has highlighted that the incident ended with no injuries despite the proximity of the gas station.
