The Seville City Council is preparing a special security, cleaning and mobility device for Betis’ next match against Rangers F.C. at the Benito Villamarín stadium this Thursday at 9:00 p.m. Meeting corresponding to the sixth day of the group stage of the Europa League and classified by the Government Subdelegation as high risk.

Once again, the offer of urban buses will be increased with 24 additional vehicles that will provide service on lines 1 (Ciudad Sanitaria – Prado – Polígono Norte), 2 (Heliópolis – Ciudad Sanitaria – Polígono San Pablo – Puerta Triana), 3 (Bellavista – San Jerónimo – Pino Montano) and 6 (Ciudad Sanitaria – Reina Mercedes – Los Remedios – San Lázaro).

Furthermore, as has been done in recent games, the new shuttle that connects the stadium and Seville East will provide service, making the stops on the LE line, only as downhill stops. Specifically, it makes stops at the Prado, San Bernardo, Eduardo Dato, Gran Plaza, Los Arcos, las Góndolas, Palacio de Congresos, Avenida de la Ciencia and Avenida de la Aeronáutica.

A joint operation of the National Police and the Local Police will be deployed in the areas with the greatest influx of the public, including Guadaíra Park, Tajo Street and Ensanche Street, among others, to control concentrations of people consuming drinks and avoid the consequent inconvenience to the neighbors of the area.

In this sense, the Local Police will deploy a total of 54 personnel and the National Police Corps Unit Attached two agents, to control resale, among other tasks, which will be added to the 325 National Police personnel of the Police Units. Police Intervention, the Cavalry Unit, the Prevention and Reaction Unit, the Private Security Unit, the Citizen Assistance Group, the Canine Guides Unit, Aerial Resources, Security Coordinator Teams, Tedax and Provincial Information Brigade.

The traffic device as well as the operation and the closure of access roads will be activated three hours before the match, allowing only authorized vehicles to access the stadium.

Traffic cuts will take place from 6:00 p.m. until the end of the match. The green phase for vehicles at the traffic light from San Antonio María Claret Street to Padre García Tejero Street will be extended and access to the Gol Norte and Gol Sur parking lots will be controlled until one hour before the game. The previous concentration area remains on Avenida de Holland, which gave such a good result in the last Real Betis match.

Lipasam, for its part, has arranged a special operation made up of 24 operators and ten vehicles that will work the hours before and after the football match.
