Sónar Barcelona, ??Ferran Adrià and the Kings League are some of the entities and personalities that will be awarded on December 13 at the Marketing Leader Awards 2023, promoted by Club Marketing Barcelona.

As reported in a statement, the ceremony, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the CosmoCaixa Science Museum in Barcelona, ??will be “the annual recognition of the most relevant professionals, companies and actions in the field of marketing in six categories “. The event, which has reached its 41st edition, “has established itself as one of the most outstanding events on the marketing calendar at the state level.” In addition, it will feature a presentation by actor Marc Clotet and the musical participation of singer-songwriter Roger Padrós.

The awards consist of several categories. The Business Award will be presented to Sonar Barcelona “in recognition of its successful marketing strategy that allowed it to stand out as one of the best festivals of the year.”

For her part, Sílvia Bach —CEO of MotoCard— will receive the Leadership Award, “in recognition of the best professional of the year for her leadership that consolidates her as a benchmark in the sector.”

The Future Marketing Leader award will be presented to the Kings League, in recognition of the best marketing strategy by a start-up company. The football competition created by Gerard Piqué and Ibai Llanos “has managed to bring together amateur footballers and former professional footballers in a new format that mixes sport with gamification, generating great engagement from its followers and becoming a successful phenomenon” .

In recognition of their careers, Toni Segarra and Ferran Adrià will win the Career Award. Segarra, a renowned publicist, “has left an indelible mark on the advertising industry due to his creativity, his ability to innovate and his ability to connect brands with audiences in an authentic way.” For his part, Ferran Adrià, “has revolutionized gastronomy with his avant-garde and experimental approach, turning El Bulli into a global benchmark for haute cuisine and promoting the elBulliFoundation, which bears the witness of many years of work and success to leave it as a legacy for future generations”.

The Action Award, in recognition of the best marketing action, will be awarded to Spotify “for the creativity, impact and success achieved in the activation of the sponsorship of FC Barcelona, ??which, among other musical references, included the participation of the Rolling Stones with a special edition of the official t-shirt and the presence of the musicians in the box at the last Barça-Madrid classic”.

Finally, the Barcelona Award will be collected by Barcelona Global, “for its great commitment to the Barcelona brand and especially for the promotion of the Copa América de Vela, which this year has landed in Barcelona as the venue for its 37th edition.”
