He fired several shots with an automatic weapon in the vicinity of a restaurant near the Cristamar shopping center in Puerto Banús, in Marbella (Málaga), and fled. The event, which took place on Tuesday afternoon and for which the National Police has already opened an investigation, did not cause any injuries.
Few are the data that have come out of this attack, of which it is unknown who it was directed against and if the attacker acted alone or with someone else. What has been confirmed is that the man fled in a vehicle that was found engulfed in flames a few kilometers from there and that caused several groups of firefighters to intervene to control it. At the moment, there are no detainees.

The 112 Andalucía Emergency Service received several calls around 6:00 p.m. warning that there had been a shooting in Marbella and asking for health care.
Agents of the National and Local Police, Civil Guard and health services traveled to the place, in the middle of Avenida de las Naciones, and, although health care was initially requested, in the end it was not necessary.
The National Police is investigating the shooting and it is unknown if the perpetrator was alone or with more people. Almost half an hour after the event occurred, the vehicle in which the shooter or shooters allegedly fled appeared in a burning ditch, which activated Infoca firefighters to extinguish the flames.
Up to six groups of forest firefighters, three operations technicians, an environmental agent, two fire trucks, two reinforcement brigades have worked against fire and a Medical Unit. In addition, they have been supported by three helicopters, one heavy, one light and one light; as well as three planes, two cargo planes on the ground and one for coordination.
The fire was considered controlled at 8:25 p.m. and work is underway on the ground in the auction and liquidation, as reported by Infoca.
