Agents of the National Police have evicted seven occupied homes in the Patraix neighborhood of Valencia that had become “criminal black spots” due to the sale of drugs on a small scale and in some cases illegally hooked up to electricity.

During 2023, the Patraix Operational Response Group (GOR) has evicted various people who were usurping homes and commercial premises in this district. These seven properties constituted “authentic criminal black spots” that were generating “great alarm” among neighbors, according to the National Police in a statement.

Police work began when observing a series of illegal occupations in homes and commercial premises, a situation that, “sometimes”, was “accompanied” by an “increase in crime” and a “sense of insecurity” on the part of the police. neighbors of the usurped dwellings.

These people “often” suffered illegal electricity connections, broken locks or glass on the doors leading to the properties, noise and disturbances late at night, in addition to witnessing fights, attacks or a “large movement of individuals” throughout the building.

After the centralization of all complaints and police reports related to occupations, the Police have been able to determine the existence of “criminal black spots” associated with small-scale drug trafficking, receipt of effects, crimes against freedom and physical integrity, among others. others.

The devices have culminated in the dismantling of seven black spots by agents of the Response Operational Group (GOR) of the Patraix police station.
