The section between the streets of Vilamarí and Comte Borrell is the first in which the containers will be placed again, which, as usual, were removed during the works on the Consell de Cent axis. 15 selective collection containers and 14 waste containers will be installed. With the organic containers from the cross streets, which were already there during the works, the capacity prior to the works is recovered.
Information and monitoring
A team of eight people will accompany the citizens in the change of routines and will inform the neighborhood of the new operation. It will also carry out an exhaustive follow-up of the possible mismatches detected by the cleaning teams and the public. Street informants will intervene in each phase: they will be deployed the week before and will remain for a few days with information and monitoring tasks.
In mid-September, the second phase will begin, from Comte Borrell to Aribau. The third section will be between Aribau and Pau Claris, and the last, between Pau Claris and Paseo de Sant Joan. It is expected that the total replacement of the containers will end in mid-October.
