The news of the cancellation of Sálvame shook the television scene about a month ago. However, it seems that the essence of this successful format will continue to live. And it is that, as the journalist Roco Steinhäuser advanced in Versió RAC1 and expands the LECTURAS magazine today, La Fábrica de la Tele is preparing a new format for Netflix with some of the best-known collaborators of the program.
Names like Belén Esteban, Kiko Matamoros, Chelo García Cortés, María Patiño, Kiko Hernández, Lydia Lozano and Víctor Sandoval will be the stars of a new format in which they will pack their bags and go on a trip to Latin America.
The idea of ??the program is for the hitherto protagonists of Sálvame to appear in some similar Latin American formats with which they have connected throughout its 14 years of broadcasting on Telecinco.
Among these television spaces in Latin America, Lecturas cites Sit whoever can!, a Univisión program and the Argentine format Intrusos, from América TV, of which Jorge Javier Vázquez has declared himself a fan on several occasions.
This news would make sense of some demonstrations that Belén Esteban herself has already dropped in some public appearances, in which she wanted to reassure the followers of Sálvame concerned about its cancellation.
A few days ago, in his appearance on the Club 113 podcast, Esteban assured that he was receiving “offers from very important platforms”, and even confessed that he was working in a space like Callejeros Viajeros.
