Today I show in La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos some images taken in Santa Coloma de Queralt, a town with a lot of history located in the Conca de Barberà region.

A history represented by a castle, a Jewish neighborhood, a Gothic church and a Gothic doorway, among other places and corners of utmost importance for this population.

In addition to its history, one of its strong points are its large squares, the color of some houses, the stone in which some homes have been built, the uniqueness of some buildings or its narrow streets.

Without a doubt, this is a town where one can enjoy the small and big details. A town where one can enjoy the way of being, working or living of its inhabitants.

Although in addition to its inhabitants, we can also find some tourists following its most central streets. One feels here like in the town you went to when you had vacations.

This town in the middle of nature, with history, walls, houses with soul, wooden shutters, cool alleys… leaves you with the feeling of having been in the idyllic surroundings of a country town. Santa Coloma de Queralt evokes good memories.
