The San Antonio Spurs confirmed all the forecasts early this Friday and chose Frenchman Victor Wembanyama as number one in the NBA draft, who for the main analysts is the most anticipated young man in the league since landing in the elite 20 years ago of LeBron James.

At 2.23 meters tall and 19 years old, Wembanyama has the physical power and wingspan of a center but also the ball skills and shooting accuracy of a shooting guard.

The Brooklyn Nets’ Barclays Center hosts this NBA draft that takes place just ten days after Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets got the first ring in their history.
