The Ukrainian Air Force announced this Sunday that at dawn the Russian Army launched several waves of kamikaze drone attacks against the Odessa region (south), according to a message published on Telegram.

“A total of 25 drones “Shahed – 136/131 were launched to attack the southern part of Odessa. 22 of them were destroyed by the forces and resources of the Air Force in cooperation with the anti-aircraft defenses of other elements of the Ukrainian Defense Forces,” the message highlighted.

On the other hand, a spokesman for the military administration of Odesa, SerhĂ­ Bratchuk, pointed out that one of the attacks caused damage to a port infrastructure, where it caused a fire that the firefighters managed to extinguish quickly. “According to preliminary information there are two wounded civilians,” he added on his Telegram channel.

The governor of the region also confirmed the attacks. “Tonight, Russian terrorists attacked civilian infrastructure in the south of Odessa for three and a half hours,” said Oleg Kiper, adding that the two injured civilians are employees of the port that was attacked and are hospitalized.
