Roddy Ricch, a rapper, was arrested Saturday before he was due to perform at New York City’s Governor’s Ball music festival.
Rodrick Moore is Ricch’s legal name and he was taken into custody along with two others after Citi Field private security personnel saw a firearm in a vehicle. According to the New York City Police Department
Carlos Collins, 57, and Michael Figueroa (46) were also charged with criminal possession, criminal possession, and illegal possession of large-capacity ammo feeder devices.
Tuesday’s statement by Queens District Attorney’s Office to NBC News was: “There’s not any public information for Rodrick Moore.” Michael Figueroa’s case is still pending.
The Queens DA was referred to by the NYPD.
Sunday’s New York Daily News was told by a court clerk that Ricch had been cleared of all charges. A court clerk called NBC News Tuesday to inquire about details regarding the case of Ricch’s rapper. Nothing was found.
Collins and Ricch were not charged with the charges.
NBC News reached out to Ricch’s agent, Atlantic Records, and requested their comments.
Figueroa is still being charged. Figueroa was arraigned on Sunday. His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday. His attorney declined comment.
