PSOE and PP have reached a first agreement on the reform of the Law of only yes is yes on criminalizing the dissemination of content that promotes sexual assault when it comes to minors under 16 years of age.

Sources from the Popular parliamentary group have explained that this modification will be made after agreeing to a compromise amendment with the main party in government and, foreseeably, this new text will be included during the presentation meeting this Monday in Congress.

The Socialist Equality Secretary, Andrea Fernández, explained to journalists at the entrance to the presentation that it is a “merely technical” change with respect to the PSOE’s reform proposal for the law of only yes is yes. In fact, she has indicated that the modifications that are being worked on with the PP do not imply “substantial” changes in her initiative.

The ‘popular’ sources have explained that the negotiations with the Socialists will continue throughout the day.
