The head of the Investigating Court 15 of Valencia, acting as a guard, has ordered the entry into provisional prison, communicated and without bail of the 37-year-old man arrested last Thursday morning for allegedly killing his mother.

The case, declared secret, is initially open for a crime of homicide and the investigation will continue from now on in the Investigating Court 13, which had already opened prior proceedings for these events, as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV).

The man was arrested this Thursday as the alleged person responsible for the murder of his mother, aged 68, around 1:30 a.m. at a home in the Valencian neighborhood of San Marcelino. Apparently, he would have beaten her wife with a broom and later strangled her.

Neighbors of this Valencian neighborhood explained to journalists that the deceased woman was a teacher and it had been a “long time” since they had seen her, and some have even indicated that it had been “four or five years since she had set foot on the street.”

They have also indicated that two children lived with her and that they had never heard fights at home nor had the police gone to it.
