The court for violence against women in l’Hospitalet de Llobregat has agreed to the communicated prison without bail for a man for the death of his partner in the same city, the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) confirmed this Thursday. .
Presumably, the woman was thrown out of a window on June 20, according to police sources. She died this Wednesday from the injuries that occurred as a result of her fall.
The alleged femicide occurred in the Pubilla Casas neighborhood, according to sources close to the case to La Vanguardia. These same sources have added that at first it was thought to be a suicide.
The TSJC of Catalonia has reported that it has opened a case for completed homicide. In addition, the magistrate has suspended the parental authority of the child they have in common. He has also prohibited the alleged murderer from communicating with his son and has granted custody to a relative. There is no legal record between the couple, the TSJC has added.
The City Council of l’Hospitalet de Llobregat has called a minute of silence this Thursday at 5:00 p.m. to “condemn the murder of a woman in the city due to sexist violence.” It will take place in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
