When night falls, Barcelona stays awake and beyond the wide range of bars, restaurants and nightlife, there is a wide range of plans and activities with which to discover and enjoy corners and spaces of the city from another perspective.

La Pedrera is one of the emblematic buildings that opens its doors at night and offers an alternative visit to the work of Antoni Gaudí. At Casa Milà they take a guided tour every day of the flower patio or the whale attic, where you can see the Gaudí exhibition and various projections, which culminates on the warriors’ roof with a video mapping that is reproduced in the badalots and in the unique architecture of the building. The visual spectacle is accompanied by music and includes cava and sweets.

Another emblematic building that opens its doors at dusk is the Fabra Observatory. From there you can contemplate the stars and views of the city from Collserola, in addition to getting to know the space, its history and that of its promoters. The activity includes observation with the telescope and a visit to the outside of the dome on Fridays, as well as a conference on astronomy and drinking on Saturdays.

And in the Gòtic neighborhood you can find several proposals. Barcelona Turisme offers two tours. The first tours buildings such as the Cathedral, the convent of Santa Anna, the Palau Reial Major or the Plaza de Sant Felip Neri for three hours, with architects offering explanations about the buildings.

For fans of the horror genre, the consortium proposes the Ghosts of Barcelona route, to discover stories of mystery, witchcraft, haunted convents or ghostly apparitions in El Born and La Ribera. Both tours take place on Fridays, the first at 7:30 p.m. and the second from 8:30 p.m.
