PIMEC Comerç Lleida has started the campaign “Climate refuge; whenever you need it, your business is by your side” to promote commercial establishments as ideal places for the population to take refuge from high temperatures.
“It is one more service that small businesses have for consumers”, considers the president of PIMEC Comerç Lleida, Manel Llaràs, who assures that the establishments “will not force customers to consume or buy” and will be a space for rest to “regain strength”.
The initiative includes different types of establishments such as pharmacies, shops or cafeterias that are added to the rest of the climate refuges that the administration has enabled, such as hostels or libraries.
