Pedro Ferrándiz dies, the coach with the most winners in the history of Real Madrid

Real Madrid has announced the death of Pedro Ferrándiz, at the age of 93, of the former white coach who achieved the greatest record in the club’s history.

Ferrándiz directed the Madridista basketball team for 13 seasons, in various stages between 1959 and 1975, in which he won four European Cups, 12 Leagues and 11 Spanish Cups, directing the team in 490 games. He is still currently the coach who has won the most Leagues and Cups in Spain. Pedro Ferrándiz was also coach of the Spanish national team between 1964 and 1965.

Real Madrid has expressed its condolences and affection to relatives, colleagues and loved ones through a statement.
