The second edition of Summerfest Cerdanya has announced its final poster with the presence of artists of the stature of Pablo Alborán, David Bisbal or Els Amics de les Arts. As in the previous season, which closed with an attendance of 18,000 people, the festival will take place during the second half of August in the Camí de Sant Marc de Puigcerdà area. Tickets are available at a 10% discount for Club Vanguardia members.

The singer-songwriter Pablo Alborán is the latest addition to the festival, which adds one more date to the calendar for the man from Malaga to present the songs from La cuarta hoja, his new work. Ten days before, the Argentine God Save the Queen and their versions of the British band will be in charge of inaugurating the season on August 17, followed on August 18 by David Bisbal, who celebrates 20 years of experience with a repertoire of greatest hits. On the 19th it will be the turn of the Spanish-Lebanese violinist Ara Malikian, who arrives with a new proposal based on the experience of watching his son grow.

Miki Núñez will close the first weekend with a new tour in which she will present the songs from her new album yet to be presented, as well as the hits from her previous works. She will also present Rosario’s album, which will interpret pieces from Te lo digo to y no te digo na, her first work in five years in which she mixes styles such as rumba, ballads, blues, reggae and, of course, flamenco .

A new album is also brought by Els Amics de les Arts, who return to the festival on the 22nd to present Allà on volia. Others that repeat are Taburete, which will perform on the 24th presenting Matadero 5, with collaborations by artists such as José Mercé, Omar Montes or La Húngara. A new song is what Pablo López will bring under his arm, who returns with the song Quasi after a year of silence. For his part, the children’s audience will enjoy the performance of Dàmaris Gelabert, who this year celebrates his 25th anniversary on stage.

The president of Grupo Clipper’s, Juli Guiu, emphasizes that the festival will bring “the great artists of the moment to the Cerdanya area” with an offer that will include an expanded offer of the Village space managed by White Summer, responsible for the festival of the same name in the Empordà with ten years of history, a gastronomic offer that will be accompanied by live performances by emerging artists and visual shows. For his part, the mayor of Puigcerdà, Albert Piñeira, has highlighted that Summerfest Cerdanya expands the region’s leisure offer “and is an element of tourist dynamism”.

This Thursday it was announced that the Occident brand will give its name to the festival from this edition. It is about the sponsorship of the insurance company Grupo Catalana Occidente, which becomes the main sponsor of the summer event.
