A minor has been critically injured and three more adults have suffered serious, less serious and minor injuries, respectively, in a head-on collision between two cars this Sunday on the N-260 in Navata (Girona).

The Medical Emergency System (SEM) received at 2:27 p.m. the warning of a crash at kilometer 48, sources from the Catalan Traffic Service told Europa Press. The N-260 was closed from the time of the accident until 4:30 p.m.

Four crews from the Generalitat Fire Brigade, two ambulances and several crews from the Mossos d’Esquadra have been displaced.

A SEM helicopter has evacuated the minor to the Josep Trueta Hospital in Girona and the other three affected have also been transferred to the same center by ambulance.
