No surprises in the eleven of Inter and City for the final

Neither Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City nor Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan have dared to innovate in the Champions League final. The English and Italians will take to the pitch at 9:00 p.m. with their 22 trusted men to look for the first Champions League in the case of the citizens, the fourth for the Nerazzurri.

Pep Guardiola bets on his gala eleven, the one with which he has been proclaimed champion of the Premier, to seek his first Champions League title against Inter Milan. The only surprise at Manchester City, the presence of Manuel Akanji instead of Kyle Walker, with a back problem, on the right side.

Manchester City hopes to transfer its leadership in England to Europe and lift its first Champions League. Guardiola’s men have reached this final in Istanbul after sweeping Real Madrid in the semifinals and they want to continue making history.

This is Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City line-up for the Champions League final: Ederson; Akanji, Dias, Aké; Bernardo Silva, Stones, Rodrigo, Grealish; De Bruyne, Haaland and Gundogan.

For Inter Milan, more experienced in terms of track record, this would be their fourth Champions League. Despite their three titles in the showcases, they are clearly inferior in terms of football, but anything can happen after a game and Inzaghi’s team will try to surprise and frustrate the Mancunian team from entering the European Olympus.

There are no surprises in the Italian eleven in Istanbul either. Dzeko and Lautaro will be in charge of putting the goals in an alignment in which Lukaku will start from the bench.

This is Simone Inzaghi’s Inter line-up for the Champions League final against City: Onana; Darmian, Acerbi, Alessandro; Dimarco, Calhanoglu, Brozovic, Barella, Dumfries; Dzeko and Lautaro.
