Night cuts on the A-6 due to works between Collado de Villalba and Torrelodones

The A-6 highway (Madrid-A Coruña) will suffer night traffic cuts on the nights of May 7 to 11 around the municipal areas of Las Rozas, Torrelodones and Collado Villalba due to road rehabilitation works.

Specifically, the work will be carried out between kilometers 24 and 39 of the aforementioned highway between 11:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. from Monday night until the 11th, the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has reported.

In this way, from 11:30 p.m. on Monday, May 6 to 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, the total road closure will be carried out, heading towards A Coruña, at kilometer 27, with a detour along the Exit 27 to the service road. From 1 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., work will be carried out on incorporating the service road to the main road at kilometer 28, deviating through the link to the CC. Torrelodones.

From 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7 until 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, the total closure of the road towards A Coruña at kilometer 27, with a detour through exit 27 to the service road.

From 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 to 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, there will be a reduction from 4 to 1 lane between kilometers 40 to 38, road towards Madrid. In addition, access to the A-6 from the M-601 will be cut off, with a detour along Avenida Juan Carlos I de Collado Villalba and a service road.

From 11 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 to 5:30 a.m. on Friday, May 10, there will be a reduction from 4 to 2 lanes between kilometers 38 to 37 on the road towards Madrid. Likewise, a total cut will be made on the service road towards Madrid between kilometers 39 to 38, with a detour along c/ Real, Avda. Honorio Lozano, c/ Ruiz de Alarcón, Vial Sur.

Finally, from 11 p.m. on Friday, May 10 to 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, it will be reduced from 4 to 2 lanes at kilometers 31, 28 and 24 of the road towards Madrid. There will be a cut of the incorporations from the service road to the main road at kilometers 31, 28 and 24.

While the work lasts, the Ministry requests maximum caution and attention to construction signage, along with strict compliance with the recommendations of the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), visible on its illuminated variable signage signs.
