The Tarragona City Council has installed new posters on the Miracle beach in Tarragona to inform about the meaning and dangers of the different colors of the flag in response to the increase in drownings this summer.

In total, nine panels have been placed at the accesses to this beach, where information is provided in Catalan, Spanish, English and, for the first time, also in Arabic about the dangers that the different colors of the flag entail.

In addition, the new signage also warns of the increase in marine currents and the risk they pose to bathers.

This is the latest preventive measure that the council has implemented after the third fatality since the season began at the beginning of August.
