New image of Prince Louis taken by Kate Middleton after the Photoshop scandal

The official social media account of the Princes of Wales published this Tuesday a new portrait of Prince Louis, the couple’s third child, to commemorate his sixth birthday. The new image, which was taken by Kate Middleton, has arrived late to the networks as several British media have pointed out, since these photographs to celebrate anniversaries are usually published early in the morning, and on this occasion the royal house has not published it until after noon.

During Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee in June 2022, Prince Louis’ mischievous grimaces and gestures from the balcony of Buckingham Palace seduced royal fans by waving too enthusiastically, sticking out his tongue, and playing with other children. The third son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had already become a protagonist in the 2019 Trooping the Color for the same reason, and it seems that, like his uncle, Prince Henry, when he was little, Luis is very natural in front of the cameras.

Born on April 23, 2018, Prince Louis is fourth in line to the British throne after his sister, Princess Charlotte; his brother, Prince George; and his father, Prince William. At just two years old, in March 2020, Prince Louis joined his older siblings in an online video to applaud healthcare workers and other key workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

The princes of Wales, along with their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, have remained hidden in the north of Norfolk since the Catherine bomb video was published before Easter. Prince William and his eldest son reappeared to watch football in Birmingham on Thursday, April 11, but the family remained at Anmer Hall, the second home of the Prince and Princess of Wales, until April 16, as it resumed the following day! the school year at the Berkshire private school where the children attend.
