'Nature on': the light show at the Girona de Pedralbes tower

Three days before Barcelona turns on its Christmas lights next Thursday in an event to be held on Passeig de Gràcia to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the promenade, a new edition of Nature on was launched yesterday, one of the Christmas gardens that complete the Christmas offer of the Catalan capital. In this edition, the chosen setting is the Torre Girona gardens, in Pedralbes, with a proposal adapted to this space. This is Origin, a show that takes the audience to understand the principle of living beings through the magical world of mushrooms.

The gardens of Torre Girona thus take over from those of the Pedralbes Palace, where the previous edition was held. The production company LetsGo has sought to highlight the architecture of this estate, little known by Barcelona residents, as well as its vegetation to offer this spectacle of light and color. Located behind the Pedralbes Palace, these romantic gardens dating from 1860 surround a neoclassical-style mansion that was once the summer home of banker and former mayor of Barcelona Manuel Girona.

The Nature on proposal is available until next January 21, from Monday to Sunday, from 6 to 10:45 p.m., with passes every 15 minutes.

Nature on uses lighting with low-consumption LED technology, which minimizes the energy impact of the show.

Tickets for Origen can be purchased through Vanguardia Tickets (https://entradas.lavanguardia.com), with a 20% discount for passes from Monday to Thursday (from 8:00 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.) with the Club Vanguardia card. .
