Having become an industrialized business in Catalonia, police operations against marijuana trafficking are very common. One of the latest has occurred in Begues, a town where a total of 525 plants have been intervened.
As explained by the Mossos d’Esquadra this Monday in a statement, the police operation was carried out on March 1 in collaboration with the Local Police of Begues. Marijuana plants have been found in a house.
The Mossos have reported that as a result of an incident that occurred during a police operation, the plantation was located and the person responsible was arrested. He managed three rooms dedicated to cultivating this drug and also swindled electricity. The plants were in a medium stage of growth.
Also this Monday, the dismantling of another marijuana plantation was made public, this time located in Gelida and protected by dangerous dogs. In fact, the attack by one of the dogs on a person who was walking through Corbera de Llobregat has led the Mossos to the alleged criminals.
