Twelve Barcelona artists have kicked off today the exhibition called La Mejor Barcelona, ??promoted by the support platform for Jaume Collboni’s candidacy as the city’s next mayor, whose motto is BO PER BCN, as he has pointed out in a release.

These twelve artists are Javier Mariscal, Helena Sans, Kamil Escruela, Carme Solé Vendrell, Perico Pastor, Robert Llimós, Catalina Parra, Medina Oscar, Anna Revuelto, Jenny Larsson, Teresa Unsain and Takayuki Maejima.

All of them have put together an exhibition with one of their works of art that symbolize “diversity, modernity and the Mediterranean spirit” that, according to their point of view, the city of Barcelona exudes.

“This is the Barcelona we want”, pointed out Collboni, present at the opening ceremony together with the artists. “A Barcelona that listens to the beat of artists, culture and creativity for being a better city every day, the creators of the show have stated”, she pointed out.

The exhibition was inaugurated last night and will remain open to the public until next Saturday, March 25. It has a work of art by each of the 12 artists and can be visited in the Uvedoble Art Studio room.
