The Maremagnum Shopping Center is preparing to celebrate Sant Jordi’s day with a series of special activities on April 23.

To commemorate this very important festivity in Catalonia, the Shopping Center has prepared a photocall made with 2,500 fresh roses purchased from a company that collaborates with Banc dels Aliments. Maremagnum will give a rose to all those visitors who come and download its Maremagnum mobile application

In addition, there will be other activities to promote culture and solidarity. Among them, the NGO Cáritas will have a stand for the sale of books on such an important day for the people of Barcelona.

All the funds raised will go to this entity that works mainly for and for children from Barceloneta who are at risk of exclusion. With this initiative, we contribute to the personal, educational and professional development of these young people, on whom the NGO focuses.

There will also be coat of arms workshops in which boys and girls can let their imagination run wild recreating the Sant Jordi coat of arms or drawing a picture of the last book they have read.

“We are very excited to celebrate the day of Sant Jordi in Maremagnum. We want our visitors to enjoy a festive and happy atmosphere, at the same time that we promote Catalan culture and solidarity”, declared the Director of the Shopping Center, Carlos Casanovas.
