María del Monte speaks for the first time on television about the robbery at the hands of her nephew

It has not been an easy year for María del Monte. The singer experienced a very complicated situation when her home in Gines was robbed last August, at the hands of a Portuguese gang of thieves.

The situation took a most unexpected turn when it was discovered that one of those involved was Antonio Tejado, his own nephew. After several weeks of silence, María del Monte has explained on television how she feels.

The singer has chosen her partner Bertín Osborne’s program: “The Seville fair is starting and I have asked my best friend to accompany us because she is the queen of the Sevillanas, and at a bad time she is with us. “I present to you María del Monte,” the singer began by saying on El show de Bertín.

The Sevillian has chosen not to directly mention Tejado, who participated in GH VIP a few years ago, but she wanted to share how she is currently: “I’m fine, without going into details, in life you have to start, you have to live, and life gives you surprises, but if you are healthy, you see that everything else has a fix,” the singer began by stating.

María del Monte continued: “I have had the experience of seeing how people who were very important to me left and I couldn’t do anything, after that now everything is below, the cut-off mark is low.”

Of course, the Andalusian does not want people to feel sorry for her, emphasizing that there are people “who will be worse off than us.” Finally, del Monte decided to share with Bertín a phrase that has helped her a lot in these times: “Don’t look at what you don’t have, look at what you have and you’ll see how much you have left over.”
