Man undresses on Melbourne bridge, wrestles with cops naked in pouring rain

Traffic was shut down on a Melbourne bridge Wednesday after a man undressed, then wrestled with several police officers in the pouring rain.

The peculiar incident was captured on an officer’s dash camera about 3 p.m.

Police said they initially got Supertotobet a call from a gas station employee who reported a man asked to used the bathroom, and when a worker said they didn’t have one, the man unzipped his pants and urinated inside the business, according to an incident report.

Shortly after, another 911 caller said the man was on Eau Gallie Causeway, a bridge over the Indian River.

The man had pulled over in a silver car and started undressing at the top of the bridge, the caller told police.

When police got there, traffic was shut down and the man was sitting in his car naked, a report shows.

He “was shouting several remarks, to include, ‘I am God’ or ‘I am a liar,’ ” a police report states.

Dash-cam footage shows police trying to get the man out of the car in heavy rain. When he finally exits the car, three officers try to handcuff him.

The man tries to wiggle out of their grips, which leads to the group wrestling on the road in the rain.

Police said the man was Baker Act-ed, which means he was involuntarily taken for treatment and a mental-health evaluation.

Officers think he might have been trying to jump off the bridge and posed a danger to himself and others based on his behavior, according to a police report.
