The State lawyer and former leader of Vox Macarena Olona has announced tonight that she will present herself as a candidate for the general elections on 23-J for Granada.
In an interview on TVE’s Canal 24 Horas, Olona explained that he will lead the candidacy of Caminando Juntos in that Andalusian province, the political party that registered this Wednesday with the Ministry of the Interior.
The former leader of Vox has defined this formation as “a transversal movement of a marked social nature”.
“We are not going to run in those provinces where it can be put at risk that the votes end up not being worth anything,” he said, after underlining the enormous “responsibility” with which they will run in the elections.
According to Macarena Olona, ”on July 23 we will have the opportunity to cast a vote of hope at the polls.”
The candidate, who has assessed the need for the Government of Spain to clarify itself, has described the call for elections by President Pedro Sánchez as “very bold”: “We are going all or nothing”.
