Luis de la Fuente went through the microphones of TVE as soon as the game was over and expressed his satisfaction for the victory in his debut as coach: “There is a great team with many alternatives and that knows how to win games. The coach had good words for Norway: “The rival has been a physical team, very well worked. But we have gone from less to more. In four days we have been able to assimilate the concepts. The credit belongs to the footballers, to Joselu. I am happy for him and for everything. His desire to win the game has been extraordinary”
Asked if they hadn’t suffered much, De la Fuente commented: “I don’t think it’s bad to suffer. At this level, suffering is inherent to the game. But the attitude of the players makes me very optimistic. They already had me beat, but now more,” he stressed.
At a press conference, De la Fuente commented that the team’s objective “is to continue growing. I am lucky to work with very versatile players.
