The LlumBCN Festival returns to Barcelona in 2024 in a new edition that on February 2, 3 and 4 will have a total of 46 completely free lighting installations available to citizens. Like previous editions, the artistic installations that make up the program can be seen in the old industrial neighborhood of Poblenou and around the Plaza de las Glorias.
The times when these attractions can be visited are Friday and Saturday between 6:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. In addition, there are two facilities with special hours. On Friday and Saturday, the BioDivHub-TAKK work can be seen at the Mercat dels Encants from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., market hours. Likewise, the Patterns and Recognitions exhibition will be available on Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The artistic direction of the festival is in charge of Maria Guell Ordis and has the collaboration of the art curator of Juliette Bibasse. The festival’s proposals are divided into 13 main works presented by national and international artists and several creations by students from the city’s architecture and design schools.
