Representatives of Revolta Pagesa, Afrucat, Asaja-Lleida, Federation of Agrarian Cooperatives of Catalonia (FCAC), Manifesto del Gran Urgell, Farmers or Conills and Union of Farmers in Lleida held a united press conference this Tuesday in which they warned to the Government that they will return to the streets if the call for elections slows down the negotiations.

“If the agreed measures and the negotiations do not advance at a good pace or the excuse of the elections does not allow progress, we will take to the streets again,” said Ramon Gomà, spokesperson for Revolta Pagesa.

The associations, platforms and unions of the agricultural sector will also present a joint manifesto in Mollerussa, as part of the Sant Josep fair, to denounce the “critical” situation they are experiencing.
