22 years ago, Leonardo DiCaprio bought the first of the Bird Streets houses for 2.3 million euros at current exchange rates and since then he has been expanding his domains until he reaches the current vast real estate complex on this hill in Los Angeles: five parcels that They add up to just over 20,000 m2 in which we find up to four houses. Now it has gone into construction as these aerial images show: machinery, construction material and an emptied pool indicate that the reform will be major.
In the neighborhood known as Birds Streets, in the Hollywood Hills, the initial house stretches across 4,500 square feet and consists of a basketball court, infinity pool (now without water) and privileged views. He bought it in 1999. In 2003 he bought the second one, in the lower left corner of the image below – four bedrooms and six bathrooms – for a price that has not been disclosed.
The third came in 2018 and he paid 4.4 million for it. His latest acquisition is a luxurious four-bedroom home, 325 m2 and consisting of a swimming pool, like the previous ones, and an adjacent guest house. He paid 9.6 million euros for it last year: the complex could even get a fifth, in the upper left corner, which has just gone on the market for 4.9 million.
Although in 2021 the actor got rid of his house in Carbon Beach for 9.1 million, his real estate portfolio is very extensive: in addition to the Bird Streets complex, DiCaprio owns another house in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, one more mansion in Beverly Hills, a farm in Malibu, several apartments in Manhattan, a mansion in Palm Springs and even a private island in Belize.
