The government of the new mayor of Barcelona, ??Jaume Collboni, who has wrested the leadership of the City Council from Xavier Trias this Saturday, after winning the support of Ada Colau and the PP at the investiture; it will have four deputy mayors and Laia Bonet will go second.

The new municipal government will be formed by the first deputy mayor, who assumes Bonet and goes from being third on the campaign list to being second in the executive. She assumes the area of ??Ecology, Urbanism, Infrastructures, Mobility, Public Space and Housing.

Maria Eugènia Gay, who was second on the list, assumes the position of second deputy mayor, who will lead the Life Cycles, Social Rights, Culture, Sports, Education and Territorial Coordination area. Albert Batlle will be the third deputy mayor and will direct the area of ??Prevention, Security, Coexistence and Internal Regime, a portfolio that he already held in the previous municipal government chaired by Ada Colau.

And the number four deputy mayor will be Jordi Valls, who will be in charge of the Economy, Finance and Economic Promotion area, a portfolio that he already held in the previous municipal government chaired by Ada Colau.

Regarding the districts, the councilor of Ciutat Vella is Albert Batlle, Jordi Valls from Eixample, Raquel Gil from Sants-Montjuïc, David Escudé from Les Corts y Sant Martí, Maria Eugènia Gay from Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Laia Bonet from Gràcia, Lluís Rabell from Horta-Guinardó, Rosa Alarcón from Nou Barris and Marta Villanueva from Sant Andreu.

Until now manager of Economy, Resources and Economic Promotion Albert Dalmau Miranda has been appointed municipal manager of Barcelona.

Mayor Collboni has also signed the decree that distributes the presidencies of the autonomous organizations and public business entities among the socialist councillors.
