Justin Bieber has shown on Instagram the progress he has made regarding mobility in his face after he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome in June 2022, which caused him partial facial paralysis. This disease affects the facial nerve near the ear and therefore can even cause hearing loss.

The Canadian had to cancel the concerts of the tour after feeling tired after his performance at the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil in September 2022 and is now in the process of recovery. As Justin Bieber himself has published, he is working on facial exercises that little by little allow him to recover the mobility of his face and return to normality.

The popular singer Justin Bieber has uploaded a photo on his Instagram stories to share with his followers the progress he is having regarding the mobility of his face. The Canadian was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome nine months ago, a disease that caused half of his face to become paralyzed. Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a disease caused by a shingles outbreak that affects the facial nerve near the ear, which can cause facial paralysis, hearing loss, and urgent treatment is needed to cure it.

When Bieber revealed his diagnosis, he explained to his followers that his symptoms included the inability to blink in one of his eyes and move his nostril, or smile on one side of his face. Since then, he has been working on his health and facial exercises to regain mobility in his face. This diagnosis caused Bieber to temporarily cancel his Justice World Tour in June 2022.

However, one July he resumed the tour, although the joy did not last long, since after six performances the Canadian was forced to cancel the tour due to physical and mental exhaustion. In September, he shared in an Instagram Story in which he explained that he needed to make his health a priority and take a break from touring for now.

Nine months after the diagnosis, the 29-year-old singer has expressed his hope that his face will return to normal thanks to facial exercises that doctors have given him. In addition, in his Instagram story, Justin Bieber wanted to thank his fans for their love and support during all this time and has confessed that he hopes to return to the stage as soon as possible.
