Ens Uneix, the party that gives the government of the Diputación de Valencia to Vicente Mompó, of the PP, has accepted the offer of the popular people to enter the government, something they consider “more important than ever” but they have demanded in exchange investments such as the completion of the General Hospital of Ontinyent or a textile cluster.
They have stated this in a statement in which they have referred to Mompó’s offer to enter the provincial government, and have considered that it is due to the objective of “providing stability and isolating the extreme right”.
“Ens Uneix is ??a regional and municipal party whose main objective is to improve the lives of the residents of Ontinyent and La Vall d’Albaida”, they have highlighted, and have assured that they negotiated under that premise.
Throughout this time, they have added, the party, which considers itself “government”, has publicly expressed its “clear willingness to collaborate in the governance of the Valencia Provincial Council”, contributing its “experience in municipal management and in the Provincial Council”.
“In the conversations with the parties we exposed various priority investments for Ontinyent and the region estimated at 15 million euros, to which we must add actions to improve roads in the region, such as those of Beniatjar, Atzeneta d’Albaida or Bufali”, they have detailed, and have recognized that all the political formations present in the negotiations assumed the need to carry out these investments.
They have explained that Mompó has offered them a first vice-presidency and the management of the areas that they consider most appropriate and they have added that “the presence of Ens Uneix in the government of the Provincial Council is more important than ever”.
“Our task can be of great help to the towns and cities of the Valencian regions, but above all because it prevents the access of formations like Vox to the government of the Diputación”, they have assured from the party.
Ens Uneix has transferred its investment demands to Mompó, in addition to some that depend on the Generalitat: “But we are convinced that the president, Carlos Mazón, will assume them as his own, bearing in mind that these are investments that correspond by right to Ontinyent”.
Among these, they have highlighted the completion and opening of the new General Hospital and that the management continues to be public, in addition to the construction of the new Palace of Justice, the unfolding of the southern ring road that gives access to the new hospital and the unfolding of the CV-60 highway.
Likewise, they have demanded the creation of the Autonomous Textile Cluster with headquarters in Ontinyent and the direct involvement of the Generalitat in the management of the Textile Museum that is now being built in Ontinyent.
This agreement, they have said, will be exposed to the militancy and institutional positions of the party next Tuesday at the headquarters of Ens Uneix in Ontinyent.
