It has been almost eight months since Marron and Arancha Morales became parents for the first time. On February 22, they welcomed Gael and, since then, fatherhood has been quite an adventure. The El Hormiguero collaborator returned to the program last April, where he took the opportunity to explain his experience in the birth of his first-born child.

However, this Monday he could not help but recognize and confess, adding humor, how complicated parenthood is and the problems he has been having since then. A situation in which many fathers and mothers will surely find themselves reflected at some point.

Marron’s statements occurred during the comedians’ gathering this Monday at El Hormiguero. During it, the collaborator could not help but recognize how complicated it is to be a father. “Parenthood is sucking the life out of me and I’m going to vent with you because you serve as therapy,” Marron began by saying.

“The issue of putting the child to sleep is getting complicated…” he assured. And it seems that his son Gael has learned to say no and regarding the issue of sleep, “if you leave him in the crib he won’t fall asleep.” Therefore, that is where the problems begin.

“It has to be in my arms and it takes about 15 or 20 minutes, of which five are spent shouting in my ear,” she continued with the story while showing the technique she used to put her child to sleep. “When he finishes, he starts talking to me in satanic,” she said. And, to prove it, she took out an audio that she had previously recorded with the child.

“Then he does ‘The Phantom Menace’ to me and when he falls asleep and I leave him in the crib, I go to the couch. But when I’m there, he heard noises in the crib, I go over and he’s asleep with his little fists up. “I can’t catch it,” Marron finished explaining. An experience, without a doubt, that is leaving its mark and with which many fathers and mothers feel most identified.
