The Israeli Army announced this Saturday the arrest of 100 people accused of “terrorist activity” at the Gazan Naser hospital, in the southern city of Khan Younis, and the Gaza Ministry of Health accuses it of arresting “a large number of members of the medical staff”.

“Army troops continue to operate in the Gaza Strip. Soldiers continue to operate in the Khan Younis area and, so far, have detained 100 people suspected of terrorist activity at the Naser hospital,” a military statement said.

The military note adds that special forces continue to carry out a “precise and limited operation”, which began on Thursday, against Hamas within the medical complex and that “is based on information from the intelligence services” of the armed forces.

For its part, the Gaza Health Ministry, controlled by the political arm of Hamas, also denounced today that “the Israeli occupation forces arrested a large number of members of the medical staff inside the Naser medical complex” and that they have converted the hospital in “a military barracks.”

On Friday night, Health already denounced that the Israeli Army was detaining a large number of medical personnel, patients and displaced persons in the maternity building, “subjecting them to interrogations and harsh and inhumane conditions.”

Likewise, he assured that the troops prevented a convoy with the help of the World Health Organization (WHO) from arriving at the Naser hospital.

According to the source, these are two trucks, one of them loaded with fuel and the second with water and food, according to the source.

For her part, the Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai al Kaila, denounced that the Naser hospital, its medical staff, patients and displaced people who have sought refuge in its facilities “are being subjected to a continuous crime of genocide by the army.” of Israeli occupation, which seeks to destroy it and liquidate those who are in it through bombings, displacement and arrests of medical personnel, cuts of medical services, electricity cuts, oxygen cuts and deaths of patients.

Al Kaila, quoted by the Palestinian news agency Wafa, added that the hospital is “the backbone of the provision of medical services in the Gaza Strip” and stressed that “stopping its work is a disaster in every sense of the word.” “.

The Army statement released today also points out that soldiers have killed an unknown number of alleged “terrorists” in the surroundings of the hospital, which was assaulted by Israeli troops after 25 days of siege.

The military text reports that in the town of Khan Younis, military units carried out raids on “numerous targets”, in which they located “weapons, including grenades, explosive devices and AK-47 rifles”, and killed in an airstrike to two alleged enemy combatants who were approaching the troops on a motorcycle.

The note also speaks of the death of three other alleged “terrorists” who were heading to a place to launch rockets and of a “terrorist cell” that was identified, also in Khan Yunis.

In the center of the Strip, the Army also claims to have killed “several terrorists,” including two people who were presumably members of Hamas.
