After months of drought and weeks without a drop falling, Spain is having different showers in different areas of the peninsula. For example, Madrid has been experiencing intermittent rain for a week, as well as electrical storms that have greatly surprised the population.
Specifically, yesterday afternoon was quite hard in the Spanish capital, since the residents of Madrid were not prepared for such a harsh deluge. Many people were trapped outside their homes in supermarkets, gyms, bars… until the worst happened and they were able to head back to their residences.
Neither the people nor the city were prepared, as many water and sewage systems were clogged or overflowed due to the force of the storm, causing extensive damage.
The situation became so complicated that the competent authorities made the decision to close the A2 highway, among other things, due to the force of the water and for the safety of travelers, thus also creating chaos in Madrid traffic.
On the other hand, many residents of Madrid also suffered the consequences of the deluge in their homes. This is the case of television collaborators Nuria Roca and Juan del Val, whose home was filled with huge leaks due to the rain.
The communicator and collaborator of El Hormiguero has uploaded a video to her official Instagram account where you can see how water bubbles form on the ceiling and how water falls incessantly. More than 10 pots on the floor, basins… nothing is enough to collect the stream that descends through the house of the presenter of La Roca.
Although the leaks represent a whole family drama that will give them more than one headache, Roca has taken the matter with a lot of humor and has put together the different videos giving rise to a piece to which the song of the movie Titanic, played by a screeching recorder.
”…well, it seems that he has had a great afternoon, hey!” wrote the co-worker of Tamara Falcó and Pablo Motos ironically, accompanying the video that he has uploaded to his social networks. For his part, Juan del Val has not ruled on the issue at the moment.
Nuria Roca’s publication has attracted a lot of attention from her followers, who have commented on the video with fun. Some of her fans have also stated that Roca and del Val “are not alone” and that the storm has caught more than one by surprise.
”Have a craft beer while it stops raining”, ”And without losing your smile, olé”, ”What a catastrophe!” or ”Long live your sense of humor. Let’s see the controversial that he says” are some of the comments that can be read in the post.
