TikTok is full of tips for everyday life: from how to organize the closets in your house to how to make healthy and simple recipes. However, alarmist advice videos that make users start to worry about daily actions that they had never considered before are also successful.
This has been demonstrated by TikTok user @dane_jones, a young man who has gone viral on the platform, raising alarm about small red stains that can sometimes appear on toilet paper.
Alert. “If the toilet paper in a public bathroom looks like this, get out of there as soon as possible,” the young man begins by pointing out in the TikTok video while he shows the image of a toilet paper with small drops of blood.
The risk. But not only that, the young man assures that the small blood stains are not there by accident or because someone’s nose has bled, they are there for the following reason: “Someone has been cleaning their needles.”
“We don’t know if it has been just one person or multiple people who have cleaned their needles to inject drugs, and if you clean yourself with this paper and a small drop comes into contact with your system, you could contract diseases such as HIV or Hepatitis,” he says.
Advice. Finally, to avoid any type of scare and prevent contact, the user advises to always check the condition of the toilet paper and if you see something strange, notify an employee so that they can change it immediately.
